Remarks: This species is characterized by fleshy whiteyellowish basidiomes, laterally stipitate, with radially elongated pores. Considered edible and cultivated by Yanomami indigenous people ( Sanuma et al. 2016).
Ecology & Distribution: Growing on deciduous wood. Tropical species. Almost widespread in the Brazilian territory ( Flora do Brasil 2020 as Polyporus tenuiculus )
