Pronotum wide, 1.3−1.32 times wider than long, shiny, with delicate puncture, anterior part with two rows of small granules and two teeth in anterior margin. Elytra 1.28−1.50 times as long as wide, striae not clear, closed striae with white hairs or scales, interstriae smaller than striae. 0.8−1.3 mm long….......................................... Palaearctic distribution: France, Italy, Spain, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Israel, Turkey ( Knížek 2011), Iran ( Amini et al. 2017).

Iran distribution: Nowshahr-Mazandaran province ( Amini et al. 2017).

Host plants in Iran: Populus nigra ( Amini et al. 2017) .
