Pronotum broad, protruding posteriorly, anterior margin straight, posterior margin bluntly rounded; disc flat, lateral carinae distinct; lateral lobe long and low, longer than high, humeral sinus distinct. Discussion. The new genus is allied the genus Leptoteratura Yamasaki, 1982 , but it differs from the latter in: fastigium verticis obviously concave ventrally; male tenth abdominal tergite enlarged caudally; genitalia sclerotized; cerci symmetric, stout.
Type species. Shoveliteratura triangula Shi, Bian & Chang sp. nov.
Etymology. The name of the new genus refers to the morphology of fastigium verticis, and the relative genus name Teratura .
