Type locality: USA, Iowa.
Additional distribution: USA, California, Florida, Nebraska.
Host plant: Amorpha canescens , A. fruticosa .
Parasitoids: Jensen (1957a) recorded this species in California, and published two associated encyrtid parasitoids, Cheiloneurus sp. and Psyllaephagus sp., but he noted that Cheiloneurus are primarily associated (as hyperparasitoids) with soft scales ( Coccidae ) and may be secondary Parasitoids of psyllids.
