Mongolodectes alashanicus Bey-Bienko, 1951 View in CoL . Trudy Russk. Entomol. Obshch. 43:145 (Holotype, female, Type locality: China: Inner Mongolia: Alashan; Type depository: ZIN St. Petersburg).

Material examined. Topotype, 4 m, 4 f, in alcohol, China: Inner Mongonia: Alashan Meng, Alashan Zuoqi, Halawu, Shatangzi, 2328M, 38.86672N, 105.90967E, 2010. VIII.4, Coll. Song Keqing; 1 f, [IOZ(E)]1919501, China: Inner Mongonia: Alashan Meng, Alashan Zuoqi, Helanshan, Shuimogou channel, Zhenggou channel, 2303m, N38.92, E105.95, 2010. VIII.16, Coll. Song Keqing; 3 f, [IOZ(E)]1919502, 1919503, 1919505, 1 m, [IOZ(E)]1919504, China: Inner Mongonia: Alashan Meng, Alashan Zuoqi, Helanshan, Zhaochigou channel, mouth of channel, 1672m, N38.42, E105.77, 2010. VIII.9, Coll. Lin Meiying.

First description of male ( Figs. 2 View FIGURE 2 B,F). Body medium-sized compared with the congeners. Fastigium of vertex approximately as wide as first antennal segment; dorsally with a shallow median sulcus. Compound eyes subcircular. Disc of pronotum feebly widened caudad, with slightly concaved anterior margin and feebly round approximately flat posterior margin; prozona smooth, faintly convex, metazona approximately flat. The first transverse sulcus lying at anterior one fifth and central transverse sulcus shallow, V-shaped. Lateral lobes of pronotum longer than high. Tegmen twice longer than pronotum, slightly extending beyond middle of the fifth abdominal tergum; apex round. 2/3 basal part of stridulatory file on underside of left tegmen with 36 distinct stridulatory teeth and 1/3 apical part with about 20 indistinct small teeth. These teeth are large-spaced arranged and gradually becoming larger centrad ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 B). Mirror on right tegmen comparatively small, rounded; secondary mirror developed, as long as half length of mirror (Fig. 4B).

FIUGRE 4. Male mirror on right tegmen. (A) K. diebua sp. n.; (B) M. alashanicus ; (C) A. longispeculi sp. n.; (D) A. liaoningensis sp. n.. (photoed by Guoqing Mai).

Fore coxae armed with a sharp spine. Fore femur with 5 small ventral spines on interior margin. Median femur with 4 small ventral spines on posterior margin. Hind femur with 6 small spines on both margins. Fore tibiae with 3 exterior spines on dorsal margin and 6 spines on both ventral margins. Median tibiae with 2 interior and 4 exterior spines on dorsal margins, and 6 spines on both ventral margins. Hind tibiae with 9 spines on both dorsal margins and 16 spines on both ventral margins.

Tenth abdominal tergum with an elliptical medial notch in apical quarter, sides of which form a pair of narrow incurved triangular projections (Fig. 5B). Cerci of equal width until a large strong internal tooth situated at apical quarter; apex with a comparatively small incurved hook (Fig. 5F). Subgenital plate slight wider than long, bicarinate latero-posteriorly, with a U-shaped notch between styli; notch one sixth of subgenital plate (Fig. 5L). Titillator with one pair of arms (Fig. 5J).

Redescription of female ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 H). Tegmen slightly extending beyond caudal margin of third abdominal tergum. Cerci twice as long as basal width, short conical. Subgenital plate with a widely trapezoidal medial incision in apical half. Ovipositor very long, slightly decurved, obliquely truncated at dorso-apical portion.

Coloration. For being dipped in alcohol, the coloration becoming faded. Head, compound eyes, occiput, pronotum, legs and abdomen gray, with exception of black maxilla, saw-tooth-like dots on caudal margins of abdomen tergite and tenth abdominal tergum. Tegmen yellowish, with a brown blotch in each cell.

Notes. M. alashanicus was established for one female type specimen. Based on multiple speciemens, here I add description of male and redescription of female. The specimens that are here recorded differ from the original description of its female type specimen by the shape of the apical incision of female subgenital plate and length of female ovipositor. This species differs from M. kiritshenkoi Miram, 1929 in shape of apical lateral lobes and comparatively deep apical notch of male tenth abdominal tergum.

FIUGRE 5. Male abdominal apex. (A, E, I, K) K. diebua sp. n.; (B, F, J, L) M. alashanicus ; (C, G, M) A. longispeculi sp. n.; (D, H, N) A. liaoningensis sp. n.. (A–D) Male tenth abdominal tergum; (E–H) male cerci; (I–L) male subgenital plate; (M–N) male titillator. (photoed by Guoqing Mai).
