Genus Crypturgus Erichson, 1836 View in CoL
Crypturgus species are diagnosed by the following morphological characters: body length 1.0– 1.5 mm; scutellum small; unarmed simply punctate pronotum longer than wide, eyes emarginate anteriorly; scape longer than twosegmented funicle; club broad, irregularly oval with indistinct procurved suture at its apex; elytral declivity round with vestiture of recumbent long bristles, also in rest of the body; the procoxae contiguous; sexual dimorphism based on length and form of pronotum; host: conifers.
