REMARKS.—This species is intermediate in size for the Ecuadorian Majeorona species with body length of about 38–40 mm and wing spans of about 114 mm. The infuscation on the distal apical cell veins and ambient veins of the wings rather than only bronzing of the distal wings quickly distinguishes this species from other Majeorona found in Peru.
DISTRIBUTION.—The species has been reported from Ecuador ( Metcalf 1963a) with recent records reported for Peru ( Sanborn 2020b). Goding (1925) reported the species from Zaruma, El Oro province, Macas, Morona Santiago province, and San Rafael, Guayas province.
