Type species

Xizicus (Axizicus) xizangensis Jiao & Shi, 2013 View in CoL , by original designation.

Generic diagnosis

Body small. Fastigium verticis black; pronotum short and humeral sinus conspicuous; disc with a wide yellowish brown stripe along midline, with a pair of blackish brown spots on anterior area and with or without a pair of blackish brown spots on metazona. Apical area of metafemur genicular lobules bluntly rounded; metatibia with a pair of dorsal apical spurs and 2 pairs of ventral apical spurs. Tegmen long and distinctly surpassing beyond apex of metafemur. Hind wing slightly longer than tegmen. Posterior margin of male tenth abdominal tergite relatively straight, without process. Male cercus varying between species; male genitalia completely membranous. Ovipositor in apical half slightly curved dorsad, dorsal and ventral margins smooth, apices of ventral valvulae hook-shaped.
