Diagnosis. Body elongate, elytra parallel-sided or subparallel-sided; antennae longer than body; lower ocular lobe as tall as genae; elytra with lateral longitudinal carinae, and erect setae throughout, lacking centrobasal crest; femora linear; last urotergite deeply notched. Number of species currently included: 17; in Mexico and Central America : 1.
