status

Notaris (Notaris) scirpi mandschurica Voss, 1940 ( Figs. 1G View Figure 1 , 2G View Figure 2 , 7 View Figure 7 )

General distribution. Russian Far East, Mongolia, North-eastern China, Japan.

Distribution in Asian Russia. East Siberia (Zabaikalskii Krai: 5 km SE of Nerchinsk - new record; Sakha (Yakutia) Republic), Far East (Khabarovsk Krai, Primorsky Krai).

Remarks. Notaris mandschurica was described from Harbin ( Voss 1940). The study of materials from Siberia and the Far East showed that these specimens belong to Notaris scirpi , but the differences in the coarsely punctate metanepisternum, the scales near the metanepisternum are rarer, and the pronotum usually more coarsely sculptured allow preserving the status of a subspecies.
