Baghdad: [BA1] (as B. signata graeca ; Dobroruka 1976), Maysan: [MA1] (as B. signata graeca and B. signata georgica ; Brölemann, 1922; Attems 1929), Dohuk: [DO1], [DO2], Erbil: [ER3], [ER4] (as B. egyptiaca , B. affinis graeca and B. affinis megalocycla ; Chamberlin 1958), Thi-Qar: [ TQ 1] (as B. egyptiaca ; Chamberlin 1944), and Diyala: [DI1] (as Haplophilus souletinus ; Al-Doori et al. 2020) provinces.

Distribution. A Turano-Mediterranean species (Simaiakis et al. 2013; Zarei et al. 2020; Dyachkov 2022b).

Remarks. According to illustrations by Al-Doori et al. (2020: Plate 6), specimens identified as

Haplophilus souletinus (Brolemann, 1907) belong to B. signata .
