LITERATURE RECORDS: Blake & Giangrande 2011.
REMARKS: Recorded for the first time in the Adriatic Sea in an aquaculture facility in Brindisi (SA) by Blake & Giangrande (2011). It was considered to be a possible alien species in the Adriatic Sea that ranges naturally along the US Atlantic coast from Maine to the Gulf of Mexico.
