LITERATURE RECORDS: Cantone & Di Pietro 2002; Castelli et al. 2008. REMARKS: Alien species with Indo-Pacific origin ( Zenetos et al. 2010). It was reported for the first time in the Mediterranean Sea in the Gulf of Catania ( Italy, Ionian Sea) by Cantone (1981).
