Type: Unknown (possibly LE?) .

Note: It is not clear what this name refers to, it has never seen usage in taxonomic treatments, and no type material has been located to allow for definitive application of the name. Based on the description it may be a synonym of C. violacea Linnaeus , but the type material has not been located despite efforts to find it in a number of herbaria. No material matching this has been found in LE, but an exhaustive search has not yet been possible .
