Paraphaula Fuchs, 1963: 13 ; Martins, 1984: 308; Martins & Galileo: 1998: 13 (rev.), syn. nov.
Fuchs (1963) described Paraphaula in the tribe Aerenicini View in CoL , and the genus remained not identified by Martins (1984) and Martins & Galileo (1989). Herbert Schmid from Vienna kindly sent the photograph of the holotype of Paraphaula porosa Fuchs , allowing us to propose the present synonymy. It seems impossible to identify a genus described in an erroneus tribe, and if Paraphaula was described in Forsteriini View in CoL and rather than in Aerenicini View in CoL undoubtly, the identification would be possible.
