This cosmopolitan species has been reported from the Falkland Islands ( Brooks et al. 2005). It is identified by the long setae on the postero-ventral angle of the valves and the long denticles at the distal end of the post-abdomen ( Figures 20 View Figure 20 , 21 View Figure 21 ).
