Diagnosis. General color black. Basal spot on corium and embolium, cuneus and extreme apex of corium (except black inner angle and apex of cuneus), spot on membrane near apex of cuneus, legs (except black apices of femora, tibiae and tarsi) whitish to hyaline. In some specimens, the color of the collar varies from entirely black, black on top and yellowish laterally, to totally yellow. Length 3.85–4.40 mm.
Host. Unknown.
Distribution. Brazil (E. Santo, Minas Gerais, Rio Grande de Sul, Rio de Janeiro, Santa Catarina), Ecuador (Carvalho, 1957); and Colombia ( Carvalho and Afonso, 1977).
