Spartacus albatus Distant, 1884: 300 View in CoL (orig. descrip.).
Diagnosis. General color pale green. Corium and embolium pale hyaline; outer margin of cuneus, vein of membrane, inner margin of clavus, eyes and antennae (except base of first segment) black. Length 4.45–4.75 mm.
Host. Heliconia psittacorum Sessé and Moç. [ Musaceae ] ( Ferreira et al., 2001).
Distribution. Brazil (Minas Gerais), Guatemala, Paraguay (Carvalho, 1957).
Minas Gerais specimens examined. 2 ɗɗ, 2 ΨΨ, Viçosa, J. C. M. Carvalho ( USNM).
