This species differs from the Japanese species Sussaba nigra Nakanishi by the strongly coriaceous median lobe of the mesonotum and from Sussaba dajsetsuzana Nakanishi by the lack of a black area in the tyloids of males ( Nakanishi, 1979).
Holarctic; reported from the Russian Far East.
