Distribution. Eastern Mediterranean region, Middle East ( Zarghani et al., 2016); south of European Russia, western Qazaqstan. Ukraine: Kherson, Donetsk ( Kameneva & Korneyev, 1985); Odesa, Luhansk (V. Korneyev, unpublished data); Chernivtsi Region (first record).
Notes. Larvae flower heads of Serratula xeranthemoides , S. radiata and S. spp. ( Fig. 5.) ( Asteraceae ) ( Korneyev, 1982; Zarghani et al., 2016).
