Material examined. Spaska, 23.07.2021, 1♂, 1♀ ( V. Korneyev leg.); Zavoloka, 23.07.2021, 1♂, 1♀, 23.07.2021, 1♂, 2♀ (alcohol) ( V. Korneyev leg.) .

Distribution. Throughout Europe ( Merz & Korneyev, 2004). Ukraine: Khmelnitsky, Kharkiv, Crimea (Korneyev & White, 1996); Chernivtsi Region (first record).

Notes. Induces galls in flower heads of Centaurea scabiosa ( Asteraceae ) (Korneyev & White, 1996). Overwinters as larvae.
