Material examined. Spaska, 24.07.2019, 1♀ (S Korneyev, V. Korneyev & Babytskiy leg.); Zavoloka, 09.07.2021, 2♂, 23.07.2021, 1♂, 1♀ (alcohol) ( V. Korneyev leg.) .

Distribution. Throughout Europe ( Merz & Korneyev, 2004). All Ukraine; Chernivtsi Region (first record).

Notes. Larvae in flower heads of Centaurea , Cirsium , Carduus , Serratula ( Asteraceae ) (Merz, 1994), which possibly form different host races or cryptic species.
