Material examined. Zavoloka, 09.07.2021, 1♂, 23.07.2021, 2♀ ( V. Korneyev leg.) .

Distribution. Throughout Europe and Palaearctic Asia (introduced to Sakhalin) ( Merz & Korneyev, 2004). Throughout Ukraine; Chernivtsi Region (first record).

Notes. Larvae in flower heads of Arctium ( Asteraceae ) (Merz, 1994). Overwinters as adults.
