Material examined. Stavchany [48.51ºN, 25.68ºE], 25.07.1959, 1♂ (collector unknown).

Distribution. Central and Southern Europe, North Africa, Near East, Caucasus ( Merz & Korneyev, 2004). Ukraine: Chernivtsi & Crimea (Korneyev, 2016).

Notes. Larvae in flower heads of Sonchus asper and S. oleraceus ( Asteraceae ) (Merz, 1994).
