“ Laomenes jackhintoni View in CoL ” species group
Species of this group are characterized by the presence of a long, slender, straight or sickle-like, rostrum with a dorsal carina distally bearing 3–6 teeth, and a straight or concave toothless ventral carina. Eyestalk relatively slender, central projected distally, with large pointed apical papilla. Epistomial horns triangular, with sharp pointed tips. Lower lacinia of maxillule tapering distally. Pereiopod I with well developed tuft of simple setae at carpo-meral articulation, with very slender and curved fingers. Pereiopod III with carpus produced distodorsally and overhanging carpo-propodal articulation; propodus without distoventral spines; dactylus robust, with slender, curved unguis and large sharp accessory tooth turned down. Exopod of uropod with fixed distolateral tooth and mobile spine.
Species included. L. jackhintoni ( Bruce, 2006) , L. tigris sp. nov.
