Holotype: FFR 767, 156 mm SL; Kahramanmaraş prov.: stream Geçit Menzelet Reservoir, on road from Kahramanmaras to Andırın, Ceyhan River , 37.6167N 36.6500E.

Paratypes: FFR768 , 14 ,140– 168mm SL;same data as holotype .— FFR769 , 10 , 61–165 mm SL; Kahramanmaraş prov.: stream Aksu, on road from Kahramanmaraş to Adana, Ceyhan River , 37.5000N 36.9000E .— FFR 770 , 4 , 133– 172 mm SL; Adıyaman prov.: stream Çelik at Çelik village, Ceyhan River , 37.7044N 37.5560E .

Status: Valid.

Remarks. Turan et al. (2008a: 264) erroneously recorded the standard length of the holotype as 156 in the description. However, correct standard length of the species is 143 as mentioned in the caption of the Figure in the study ( Turan et al. 2008a: 265, Fig. 1 ). The collection codes of all types of Capoeta erhani were misspelled in the original description as “FRR”. They are corrected here as “FFR”. Additonaly, range and number of the paratype of FFR 769 recorded as “12, 133– 172 mm SL” in the original description. Here, we indicated these as “10, 61– 165 mm SL”.
