( Figs 2 View FIGURES 1 – 15 , 23 View FIGURES 16 – 23 , 37 View FIGURES 36 – 44 )
Atrovirensis annamita Gyulai, Ronkay &Wu, 2013, Fibigeriana supplement: 1: 125, Pl. 39:5–8; gen. fig. 3, 4. Type-locality: North Vietnam, Prov. Lao Cai. Holotype: HNHM.
Diagnosis. Adult ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1 – 15 ). Wingspan 38–40 mm. The species differs from the related A. atrovirens , A. pedibus and A. parannamita by generally darker wing colouration. Male genitalia ( Fig. 23 View FIGURES 16 – 23 ). In the male genitalia, A. annamita differs from A. atrovirens by its thinner, apically less hooked uncus, shorter but broader, almost quadratic juxta, slenderer and somewhat longer harpe, more elongated neck of cucullus and by shape of cucullus, which is more tapered ventrally. The ventral diverticulum of the vesica bears a large cornutus which is not knife-like as in A. atrovirens but straight, claw-like apically, and larger, more comb-like, situated on the tip of the medial diverticulum. Female genitalia ( Fig. 37 View FIGURES 36 – 44 ). The female genitalia differ from its congeners by presence of the large, discoidal and partly heavily sclerotised posterior section of bursa copulatrix, conical-trapezoidal shape of antrum and relatively large, less conical papillae anales with finely arched outer margins.
Distribution. North Vietnam.
