The atrovirens species-group
Atrovirens atrovirens and closely related A. annamita , A. parannamita , A. pedibus and A. sp. cf. parannamita represent the atrovirens species-group. It can be characterised mostly by genital features which are as described below. The males have thin, rather long, apically strengthened and hooked uncus, large triangular cucullus and characteristic shape of short vesica with presence of two diverticula, with medial one armed with large broad-based knife-like or arched, apically hooked cornutus; ventral diverticulum rather short, bearing group of 2–5 joined cornuti. In the female genitalia, the atrovirens species-group is characterised by rather large conical papillae anales and prominent conical or trapezoid antrum.
