Ctenodecticus bolivari Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1882: 328 (partim: Algeria, Oran). Localit type: Algeria, Mascara.
Distribution: North Africa ( Morocco, Algeria) ( Galvagni 1989b). Biogeographic zone: Shoreline.
Bioclimatic zone: Semiarid.
Record in Algeria: Mascara [35°35'N 0°4'E] ( Uvarov 1924). Oran [35°40'N 0°39'W] ( Finot 1896, as Hemictenodecticus bolivari Targioni-Tozzetti, 1881 ). Chopard (1943) mentioned that species as H. bolivari from Oran (see Galvagni 1989b).
