The new name Adoretus nathanlimbourgi View in CoL nom. nov is here proposed to replace Adoretus nathani Limbourg, 2014 View in CoL . The latter name was preoccupied by Adoretus nathani FREY, 1971 View in CoL , a species described from Coimbatore in the Nilgiri Hills (S. India) and dedicated to the priest Susan Nathan ( Frey, 1971).
DISTRIBUTION. Known from Kenya.
BIOLOGY. The species was collected in the months April and June.
