Diagnosis (♀). Head globoid, about as wide as mesonotum; mandible with two teeth; clypeus thick with V-shaped median elevation in anterior view, anterior margin incurved medially; antenna with 11 flagellomeres; occipital carina present only dorsally; notaulus absent or present; parapsidal signum present; metasomal terga III– V or IV– V with pair of acute lateral tubercles; apex of metasoma and sting slightly curved dorsad; R 2 C and 1Cu 2 C closed, 2r-rs&Rs 2 v and C 2 v absent, prestigma present, Rs&M 2 v, M+Cu 2 v and A 2 v present ( Azevedo et al. 2020) .

Distribution. Afrotropical, Saharo-Arabian, Madagascan, Sino-Japanese, Oriental, and Oceanian realms.
