Holotype male seen; in good condition.
Diagnosis. General colour uniformly silver-grey pollinose, scutum and abdomen with no marks; palpus brown; legs yellow, except for dorsal apical third of fore femur and dorsal apical fourth of mid and hind femora; arista with short hairs on basal half and bare on apical half; scutellum with both pairs of setae long and with setulae on disc; anterior katepisternal seta very short; lower calypter about 2.5 times as long as the upper one; haltere yellow; fore tibia with a long median posteroventral seta; hind tibia with one anterior and one anterodorsal, the anterior a little basad; abdomen with four long setae on tergite 5; sternite 5 as in Fig. 44 View FIGURES 41 – 52 .

Notes. Included in the calopoda group. One paratype male was dissected and illustrated.
