11. Lychnophora nanuzae Semir View in CoL in Semir et al. (2014: 989). Type:— BRAZIL. Minas Gerais: Diamantina , road Diamantina-Sopa, 30 October 1981, A.M. Giulietti et al. CFCR 2316 (holotype: UEC [ UEC129743 About UEC ]; isotype: SPF [not found]).

Distribution and habitat: — Brazil (Minas Gerais). Campo rupestre; 810–1300 m.

Taxonomic notes: —A species easily recognized by its leaves with revolute margins touching each other on the ventral face, forming a flattened cylinder. It belongs to the Lychnophora granmogolensis species complex ( Semir et al. 2014), where its rounded leaf bases and three florets per head are diagnostic.

Loeuille et al. 652 (SPF); Diamantina, estrada Diamantina-Mendanha, 5.5 km ao norte de Diamantina , 18°11’S, 44°36’W, 1200 m, 21 March 1995, S. Splett 996 (UB, US); Itacambira, logo na subida da serra, 8 August 1992, N.L. Menezes & R. Burle Marx 1322 (SPF).
