Buenoa dentipes Jaczewski, 1928b: 127 (syn. Truxal 1953: 1460).—HT: #, Brazil, Paraná, Invernadinha; ZMPA. Possibly destroyed during the Second World War ( Jaczewski 1949).
Distribution. Argentina ( Berg 1879); Bolivia ( Truxal 1953); Brazil ( Jaczewski 1928b); Chile (Bernardo O’Higgins, Santiago, Valparaíso) ( Kirkaldy 1899, Truxal 1953); Paraguay ( Truxal 1953); Uruguay ( Truxal 1953).
Note. Kirkaldy (1904) provided the only report of this species from Venezuela, from an unspecified locality in the llanos region. Considering the distribution of the species, this record is questionable and not included above.
