327). Type:— UZBEKISTAN: Pamir-Alai, Schachrizjabs (Shakrizyabs), prope pag. Gilam, in petrosis humdis ad ripum rivuli, 19 May 1916, Popov s.n. (holotype LE).
Etymology:—The new epithet commemorates M.G. Popov, a well-known Russian Plant Taxonomist, who first collected and described the species under consideration.
