Material: New Caledonia: 1 female (Registration no. MNHN­Py 1047), stn. 1417, Baie de Santal, Enu, on a paved wharf with cover of sediment and coral mounds, 20º46.9'S 167º08.3'E, 1–4 m; November 2000 (Lifou workshop).

Remarks: A shallow panoceanic warmer water species, recorded previously from New Caledonia by Bamber (2000) and Stock (1997, as Ammothella indica ).
