Pediobius saulius View in CoL species group
Diagnosis. Vertex depressed between eye, posterior ocellus and posterior margin ( Fig. 21 View FIGURE 21 a). Collar of pronotum with lateral corners strikingly prominent, even acutely angled. Meshes on mesoscutum transverse anteriorly and slightly elongate between notaular depressions. Notaular depressions moderately deep and broad ( Fig. 21 View FIGURE 21 a). The posterior pair of mesoscutal setae shifted forward, situated near the anterior margins of notaular depressions. Most parts of scutellum longitudinally reticulate or striate. Fore wing with speculum widely open below, and PMV very short ( Fig. 21 View FIGURE 21 g).
Species included. This species group includes P. italicus Bouček , P. coffeicola (Ferrière) , P. madas Bouček and P. saulius ( Bouček 1965a, 1976). However, only one species of this group, P. saulius , is involved in this study.
