Distribution in the Arabian Peninsula: Kuwait ( Al-Houty 1989, 1997), Oman ( Guichard 1980; Hamer 1986, 1988; Roche 2007 as Tachysphex nitidus ibericus (de Saussure, 1867)), United Arab Emirates ( Hamer 1986, 1988; Gillett & Gillett 2005; Howarth & Gillett 2008), Saudi Arabia ( Pulawski 2007).
Extralimital distribution: Canary Islands, Europe, Israel, Kazakhstan, North Africa, Syria, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.
