Type species: Anapisona simoni Gertsch, 1941
Diagnosis. Male palpal femur with one single recurved distal apophysis; male palpal tibia dorsally elongated; presence of one or more stiff distal bristles on the cymbium ( Platnick & Shadab 1979: 7).
