Remarks. There are only two species in this genus, I. multispinosa ( Ihle, 1912) from Indonesia and I. tirardi Guinot & Richer de Forges, 1995 , from New Caledonia. This latter species has also been recorded from Japan ( Nagai 1991). The present record of I. tirardi is the first from northern New Caledonia. Its bathymetric range is deeper than I. multispinosa , 396 to 650 m ( Guinot & Richer de Forges 1995).
