In the API 20NE system, positive reaction for nitrate reduction, indole production, urease activity, hydrolysis of esculin and gelatin, β-galactosidase activity and utilization of D-glucose, N acetylglucosamine, potassium gluconate, malic acid and trisodium citrate. In the API 20NE system, negative reaction for glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, oxidase activity and utilization of L-arabinose, D-mannose, D-mannitol, Dmaltose, capric acid, adipic acid and phenylacetic acid.
