Diagnosis

Myrmeleon is similar to Baliga by the presence of anterior gonocoxites 8 relatively shorter than posterior gonocoxites 8 in the female genitalia ( Fig. 9A–B View Fig ) but can be distinguished by the absence of interconnected crossveins in the costal area of forewing ( Fig. 7 View Fig ).
