Homotypic synonym: Conchidium conicum (Summerh.) Ormerod View in CoL , Taiwania View in CoL 57: 119, 2012.
Specimens examined:— KAYIN. Dawna Range: type. Distribution:— Southern Myanmar and possibly Thailand.
Note:— Seidenfaden (1982: 106) cited the type number of this species under Eria obesa Lindl. ; although the two are similar in their floral morphology, they are amply distinct vegetatively.
