Europiella alpina

TURKEY – Mersin Province • 1 ♀; Çamlıyayla ; 10 Jul. 1986; EUAPP exped.; LEMT .

Comments

This species was recorded from Mersin by Lodos et al. (2003), based on a single female specimen. A re-examination of the voucher specimen ( Fig. 4B View Fig ) revealed that it belongs to Europiella alpina (Reuter, 1875) . Therefore, Parapsallus vitellinus is excluded from the Heteroptera checklist of Turkey.
