7. Henriettea maroniensis Sagot (1883: 330) .

Type:— French Guiana “In Sylvis Maroni”, 1876-1877, M. Mélinon s.n. (lectotype: P01818703!, designated here; isolectotypes: BR0000005185344!, K000537032!, K000537033!, P01818704!, P01818705!) .

Sagot (1883) used the collection Mélinon s.n. to describe H. maroniensis , referring the collection to the herbarium of Paris (P). However, three sheets belonging to this collection are found in this herbarium, apart from one specimen in BR and two others at K. All specimens of this collection deposited at P are labelled with the collection locality and collector, aside from the description of some species characteristics. Here, we selected the specimen P01818703 as lectotype, because it has more abundant and better preserved material.
