6. Henriettea lasiostylis Pilger (1905: 183) View in CoL .

Type:— Brazil “ Amazonas : Waldrand am Juruá, Marary, zerstreut auf vargem”, September 1900, E.H.G. Ule 5094 (lectotype: HBG522810 ! designated here; isolectotypes: B† [photograph F17264!], CORD00003594!, K000537022!, MG005074 !) .

Based on the collection Ule 5094, Pilger (1905) described H. lasiostylis without mentioning the herbarium in which the studied material was deposited. There are duplicates deposited in CORD, HBG, K and MG. Probably, Pilger analyzed the specimen at B, once this was the location where he developed his studies. There are no specimens of this collection at this herbarium, and we presume that they have been destroyed during the Second World War. All specimen labels have similar data to those mentioned in the protologue, such as habit, plant height, locality, and collection date, in addition to the species name followed by “n. sp.”. The specimen HBG522810 was chosen here as the lectotype, following Borges et al. (2018) guidelines for lectotypification of Ule’s collections. The specimen has well preserved vegetative and reproductive structures (buds and flowers), enabling a complete comparison with the protologue.
