Redescription Based on female (n =3)

Dorsum ( Fig. 17 View FIGURE 17 ): Colour in life red, Body oval in shape. Length of body from setae v2-h1 188–197; width from sc2-sc2 108–110. Anterior margin of propodosoma deeply notch, depth of notch 16–20, propodosoma with prominent lateral lobes anterior marginally; mediodorsal area of propodosoma framed by longitudinal striae, filled with few irregular striate; lateral area with longitudinal to irregular striae. Opisthosomal integument entirely with rugose; dorsal body setae lanceolate serrate, almost equal in length, except setae sc1 and h2, seta h2 flagelliform, whip-like; opisthosoma pores present in area between d3 and e3. All dorsal setae short (except sc1 and h2), not more than 30 long; setae v2, sc1, and sc2 serrate, sc1 more than three times longer than v2 and sc2; opisthosomal setae serrate; setae e3 shorter than distance between e3 and f2, h2 flagelliform, whip-like. Setal lengths: v2 24–30, sc1 72–79, sc2 25–30, c1 10–15, c3 10–11, d1 10–12, d3 8–9, e1 6 –7, e3 6 –8, f 2 8–9, f 3 8–9, h1 8–11, h2 198–210. Venter ( Fig. 18 View FIGURE 18 ): Ventral cuticle with longitudinal striations medially. Area between setae 1a and 3a with longitudinal striae, area posterior setae 3a with few transverse striate, area anterior seta 4a with longitudinal striae. All ventral setae smooth, setae 1a, 4a elongate, genitoventral plate developed with transverse striae. Setal lengths: 1a 44–51, 1b 25–28, 1c 20–26, 2b 24–29, 2c 23–25, 3a 10–16, 3b 18–20, 4a 52–59, 4b 20–27, ag 15–16, g1 10–11, g2 10–13, ps2 9–10, ps3 9–10. Material Examined: Three females ( KSMAAS24 -Ten-Ten-1–3), Amaranthus spp. ( Amaranthaceae ), Aseer, Saudi Arabia, 18. 5542441°N, 42. 208737°E, March 1, 2024, coll. M. Kamran, E.M. Khan GoogleMaps .

Distribution: South Africa ( Meyer,1979, 1993) and Saudi Arabia (present study)

Remarks: Our re-description matches the original description except setae in coxa I which three in original description and two setae in our re-description and variation in the length of dorsal setae, especially the second pair of propodosomal setae sc1 longer than other dorsal setae. The species T. combreti previously reported from Combretum apiculatum and C. molle , while in this study collected from Amaranthus spp. Tenuipalpus emeticae Meyer.
