Material examined. – 1 specimen – Sungai Buloh – 1 ex., fish pond, 13 Nov.1990, coll. ZRC staff ( ZRC) .
Distribution. – India, China, Taiwan, West Malaysia and Vietnam ( Hansen, 1999). Singapore!
Ecology. – A lentic species living in very shallow water at the edge of small, exposed and weedy pools, puddles and slow-flowing streams and ditches. It is also found in paddy fields in other parts of Southeast Asia ( Yano et al., 1983a).
