The species is fairly common in Central America being reported from Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Panama ( Metcalf 1963c, Sanborn 2001 a, Sanborn 2006b) and the author has specimens from Costa Rica (Sanborn unpublished). The author has identified specimens from Oaxaca, Veracruz, Hidalgo, Tamaulipas, and Chiapas collected in Mexico.
