The species is known from Mexico, Guatemala, Central America, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arizona ( Metcalf 1963a, Duffels & van der Laan 1985). It has been reported in Veracruz, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas in Mexico ( Metcalf 1963a). The author has also identified specimens from San Luis Potosí.
